David is Métis, born in Edmonton. David has made his life working in the dramatic arts. Educated and trained both with the University of Alberta (B.Ed) and with the National Theatre School of Canada.

A professional actor of stage, radio, film and television for over 30 years, David has balanced his career by also teaching Drama, Musical and Technical Theatre with institutions such as The Citadel Theatre, Red Deer College and Edmonton Public Schools.

Notable theatre credits include Misery and True West (Theatre Network), Anna in the Tropics (Centaur), MacBeth (Citadel), Our County’s Good (Phoenix, Sterling Haynes Award for Best Supporting Actor), Tango, Bacchae (Northern Light Theatre), Death of a Salesman (Theatre Calgary), The Abduction of Seraglio (Edmonton Opera) and countless more live performances.

David’s film and television credits include principal roles in The Freezer, Heartland, Davinci’s Inquest, Dream Keepers, The Outer Limits and John Henry Clayton to name a few. Lead roles include Blood Ties, The Englishman’s Boy, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, Poltergeist; The Legacy and 1132 Pleasant Streets, which won an APMPIA Award for Best Picture.

David was particularly excited and happy to have had the chance to work with Tantoo and Michelle again, as well as the amazing Blackstone crew.

David has been married for 32 years, has 4 adult children and a wonderfully fun granddaughter.
