As an Aboriginal actor and musician Mathew Strongeagle has embraced his passion and continues to master his craft. Mathew began acting at the age of eleven when he was chosen to work on the TV Series Dead Man’s Gun while living in British Columbia.

Soon after his family moved to Saskatchewan where Mathew began taking part in the improv team in elementary school that continued through to high school.

A lucky break came for Mathew when he attended an open call for the Pilot Project Moccasin Flats. Allowing Mathew to showcase his talent made him the lead actor in this TV Series, where he won the award of Best Lead Actor in a TV Series at the Showcase Awards.

Having seen his ability Dreamworks Production decided to cast him in their mini series Into the West with executive producer Steven Spielberg. His dedication and talent has taken him to appear in other projects including, Blackstone, Renegade Press.com, Random Check, A Life Less Empty, Taking Pulse, Out in the Cold and more.

Mathew’s versatility can not only be seen through is acting but through is music as well. Coming from a musical background Mathew began playing rhythm in his family bad Soundcheck. When Mathew is not acting he continues to work on his music.
